Where there is the possibility of entering personal or business data (email addresses, names, postal addresses, etc.) on the website of the Diabetes Information Service Munich, the disclosure of this data is voluntary. The Diabetes Information Service Munich does not share personal information with third parties. Excluded from this is only data that are entered on a voluntary basis in the register of people interested in the study platform; see the separate privacy policy for the study platform.

Third-party use of contact data published in the Imprint or comparable data (e.g. addresses, telephone or fax numbers and email addresses) for the purpose of sending information that has not been explicitly requested is prohibited. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action against the senders of so-called spam mails in the event of violations of this prohibition.

The data of the web server can only be accessed by a few authorized persons who are concerned with the maintenance of the servers. In connection with your access to the websites of the Helmholtz Zentrum München, data is stored on our servers for statistical purposes that may allow identification (e.g. IP address, date, time and pages viewed). The IP address is not used to identify the user, and neither directly personal nor pseudonymized user profiles are created. We reserve the right to statistically evaluate anonymized data records.
